I proposed increase in City sales tax a quarter to half cent to raise $5-10 Million a year for more City programs(parks, art, history museum, city beautification improvements, sidewalks and public safety). It is suppose to be on November ballot. I hope you voice support for it to push it and give citizens a opportunity to vote on it. Some councilmembers are against it some for it.....I say let citizens decide.

I am in support of putting on the November ballot a ½ cent general sales tax which will go directly to our city and not to the county adding a much-needed increase to our city’s general fund. As a West Palmdale resident and veteran, I am in support of the proposed legislation to increase taxes slightly in order to provide additional best real estate Gooding services in Palmdale. I believe it is important for the public to be able to review the proposal and cast a vote for it to pass. Therefore, I am in favor of putting this proposal on the ballot for the public to decide.
